It wouldn't make sense to me. If they're throwing it to get rid of Joel cause they're worried that he's part of an Athena alliance, then it would just make more sense to try to beat us to just make sure one of us goes out.
I don't see the strategic sense in them throwing a challenge. I think they may have seen the numbers on some of the accounts and got discouraged.
