That looks friggin' awesome, you guys. I should have the finished plot synopsis up soon. I passed out from my cold medication last night before I could finish it, but it shouldn't take long...

Alright, here's my finished thang. Feel free to edit anything before the final submission. "Entrusted" The film opens at a funeral, with the casket being lowered slowly into the earth. Light rain falls. Among the mourners are a young married couple, played by Brett and Natalie. As gravediggers fill the hole, they turn to leave. A tall, gawky fellow with a briefcase catches Brett's arm, and asks for a moment alone with the couple. They duck into a cafe, where the stranger, Ian, reveals that he is the attorney in charge of handling their late friend Rocky's estate. As it turns out, Rocky has willed everything to them, including his house. Happily surprised, they accept the key, and go to investigate their new home. Brett and Natalie explore the place. While looking around, Brett finds some old newspaper clippings in a desk drawer, involving a series of robberies. Some of the items listed as stolen are also in the desk drawer. The couple take this to the police station, and discuss things with Sergeant Joel Anderson. Anderson reveals that before he died, Rocky was suspected of committed a string of robberies, and that all of his former partners have turned up dead over the past few weeks. Anderson mentions that local mob boss Carlos Bernard is rumoured to have ordered the deaths, and supposes that the thieves stole something that Bernard wants. The three return to the house, intent on investigating. However, when they arrive, the door has been broken into. Anderson charges in, and Natalie and Brett hear him scuffling with an intruder. The intruder, Monica, slips past him, and takes Natalie hostage. Pointing a gun to the girl's head, Monica demands that they hand over Bernard's statue. Brett protests that they have no idea what it is, and begs Monica not to kill Natalie. Monica doesn't believe him, and is about to shoot Natalie when Anderson pounces and manages to wrestle the gun away. Monica flees. Brett, Natalie, and Anderson do some digging through the police archives, and discover that Rocky had some affiliations to a small-time crook named Stephenie LaGrossa. Concluding that Rocky may have given her the statue, they set out to find her. They eventually track her down her address, intending to demand that she hand over the statue. There is no answer when they arrive at the apartment. Joel breaks down the door. Stephenie is lying on the living room floor with her throat slit, murdered. Monica is discovered in the bedroom, tearing everything apart in her search for the statue. There is a long battle, during which Joel is shot in the shoulder, but Monica is eventually captured and arrested. Joel is given a commendation for his bravery, and issues a false announcement in the newspapers that the police have recovered the statue from Stephenie's apartment, so that Bernard will leave Brett and Natalie alone. Everything appears to have ended happily, but Brett wakes up one morning to find that Natalie has disappeared. He searches frantically for her, but finds only an old romantic photograph of Rocky and Natalie. In a series of flashbacks, it is revealed that Natalie had previously stolen the statue from Rocky, and murdered him to cover her tracks.
