We were still unsure of what we were keeping guard from, but someone watching over us, gave us some sense of security. When morning broke we all got up and tried to come up with a plan. That is, everyone except Wendy Jo, She stayed in bed awhile longer, still stuck, the events of yesterday running through her mind. When she awoke, she ran to our sides and gave each one of us a hug. Taken aback by her action, we chocked it up to needing some form of comfort. As she retreats she grabs the machete and we watch with wide eyes as she plunges the machete into her chest. We rush to her side, and with her last dying breath she says, “They can’t have me”. Eliza pulled the Machete out, in case we needed it, and tied around the handle of the blade, was parchment, and it read, “One By One”
