THIS IS A TRUE STORY
So, a couple years ago I finally figured out how to solve a 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube. Eventually I got pretty good at it and was like "I need a new challenge," so finally a couple weeks ago I bought a 4x4x4. Watching a tutorial on it I learned that a lot of it is more intuition than algorithms, and eventually you can get it to a point where you solve it just like a 3x3x3.
But then comes a beast. Its name...... is PARITY ERRORS. Parity errors are errors that can occur on a 4x4x4 but not a 3x3x3, such as two corners being flipped or a center edge being flipped opposite of what it should be. There are REALLY long and obnoxious algorithms to solve these parity errors.
So I've got pretty much the entire cube down except for the parity errors (since like I said before it's mostly intuition and solving like a 3x3x3). Tonight I was solving my cube..... and I discover by the end that I have TWO parity errors at once! You should've seen my reaction; I was just completely floored. So I go to the same tutorial video that taught me how to solve the 4x4x4, and I solve one parity error. Boom, ok, that's out of the way. I go to solve the 2nd parity error..... and from it spawns TWO MORE, just like hydra! I WAS SO PISSED!! This hardly ever happens.... finally I solved it but you cannot begin to fathom my frustration with these parity errors.

Cool story, bro... Now next time someone mentions parity errors, I can pretend like I know what they're talking about

I have a story too since we have the story thread. This one is part of a Fanfic I started writing, 4 episodes in then I got busy and took a break. But story is an actual true story that happened to me. Its one of those things I will never forget ( I'm Alex for those who don't know ) ALEX- ugh, I suppose I don't either, well maybe one from when I was like 4 years old, but I never tell anyone. STORM- Well Alex you just blew it, you have to tell us now. DAMIEN- Spit it out Alex! ALEX- Alright! Alright! When I was 4 years old ok, my Mom took me to feed ducks at a swamp. We had these pieces of old stale bread to feed the ducks, but I wanted to eat some bread too so my mom bought bread sticks for us to eat. Mind you, these were not soft bread sticks from the bakery, these were the rock hard ones with the sesame seeds glued into them. AVGN- Oh God Alex you didn't ALEX- I did...., despite how my Mom insisted the breadsticks were only for us, I threw one into the pond, My mom was screaming at me and one very unfortunate duckling "attempted" to eat it. RYAN- What happened to it? ALEX- It gargled, and flapped around frantically, half a breadstick portruding from its mouth, you could hear the muffled "quack" sounds it was trying to make. My mom and I watched in horror. *Damien, Curtis and AVGN couldn't contain their laughter, Storm and Ryan looked quite appalled* STORM- Did it die? ALEX-it laid lifeless in the pond, half a breadstick down its throat. My Mom just said "Well Alex, I guess its time to go now" and we left. My mom never took me to feed the ducks again after that. STORM- Way to upstage my life story with that sick shit Alex. Alex- You're quite welcome + =
